The Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the armed wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, announced its ongoing resistance and military actions against the occupier on January 8, 2009. AAMB shelled Kfar Azza with three Sumoud missiles and hit Sderot with two Grad rockets in the evening as well. AAMB and all resistance forces noted that the occupation troops were meeting heavy resistance and clashes and were unable to advance.
