The Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the armed branch of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, announced its ongoing resistance operations against the occupation of Palestinian land and crimes against the Palestinian people.
On Tuesday, May 20, 2008 one Sumoud rocket was fired at Asqelan and one toward the military base at the Sofa crossing. Also on Tuesday, May 20, 2 Sumoud missiles were fired toward Asqelan in a joint operation with the Al-Aqsa Brigades.
On Monday, May 19, in a joint operation with the An-Nasser Brigades, AAMB fired one rocket at Asqelan, and another on Wednesday, May 21, in a joint operation with the National Resistance Brigades. The National Resistance Brigades also fired one rocket at Asqelan on Tuesday, May 20.
AAMB noted that these operations come in resistance to the ongoing crimes against our people and pledged to continue the resistance until liberation.
