AAMB mourns comrade Hani Zu'rob, responds to massacres with resistance


Comrade Hani Zu'rob, 29, was martyred on April 16, 2008, when he was killed by an Israeli occupation airstrike. Comrade Zu'rob, from Beit Lahiya, was one of those who fell in the massacre in the north of Gaza, where he was directly targeted by an occupation missile.

In continuation of the path of resistance in the face of the massacres and crimes of the occupation, AAMB announced on Friday, April 18, 2008, that it had launched 2 Sumoud missiles at the colony of Sderot, and also launched two missiles at Asqelan on Thursday, April 17, 2008. The mayor of Asqelan demanded further massacres against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and in the face of these threats, AAMB pledged to continue its resistance, and did so, launching another improved Sumoud missile at Asqelan on Friday, April 18, at 1:30 PM.

AAMB said in a statement: "The launch comes in response to the threats and statements of the mayor of Ashkelon and his demands to kill the Palestinian resistance fighters and invade the Gaza Strip. This is our message to him that we will continue the resistance and shelling."

In addition, on Thursday, April 17, AAMB announced that it launched 4 improved missiles targeting the colony of Sderot and the Western Naqab. Also, on Tuesday, April 15, AAMB placed a large roadside bomb that damaged a Zionist military vehicle and severely injured one occupation soldier.

AAMB pledged to continue its resistance and its struggle against the occupiers of our land and their massacres and killings of our people.
