The Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the armed branch of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, announced several operations on May 28, 2008. While engaged in fiery clashes with occupation soldiers, AAMB fighters destroyed an armored Caterpillar bulldozer with a shoulder-fired missile.
In addition, on May 28, enemy radio confirmed that AAMB fighters sniped an enemy soldier while he stood on top of his tank at Sofa crossing.
AAMB also announced that it hit the western Naqab and Sderot with developed Sumoud rockets, and this was confirmed by enemy radio. AAMB announced that it also had shelled Nahal Oz with 90mm mortars. On May 29, AAMB announced that it hit Sderot with two Sumoud missiles.
AAMB reiterated that it is continuing on the path of resistance in ongoing response to the crimes of the occupier against our Palestinian people.
